Opinions That Pay Review

I’m not sure why these exact sites keep popping up, see our reviews for Brands Need You and Survey Voices to get a better understanding.

Notice any similarities? That’s because each of these sites is owned, or at least appear to be owned, by Survey Voices.

Survey Voices hasn’t received the best reviews online since it first launched some time ago which may be the reason they continue to make these extension sites, like Opinions That Pay.

What Is Opinions That Pay?

In a nutshell, Opinions That Pay connects you with a third party, you are not actually being paid by Opinions That Pay, but rather the third party sites.

They claim to connect with the highest paying but the fact that they claim to connect users with the best surveys and opportunities to make money online is quite frankly their opinion.

How It Workshow opinions that pay works

Here’s a full list of the survey sites that users are currently being offered:

  • Opinion Outpost
  • Survey Junkie
  • Swagbucks
  • VIP Voice
  • eMiles
  • National Consumer Center
  • The Bill Wizard
  • OMG Sweepstakes
  • Jobs On Demand
  • Uber¬†(driver opportunity)

Each of these survey sites is individual ‘companies’. Opinions That Pay acts as the middleman and could potentially earn money each time they refer someone to one of these survey sites or when someone joins and completes certain tasks.

More than likely, you will only be matched with a handful of these sites after creating your account which is smart on Opinions That Pay’s part as it won’t overwhelm users.

To my knowledge, each of these survey sites is legitimate and do offer payouts for anyone interested in taking surveys.

Some websites will pay your cash, usually by direct deposit, while others may only offer gift cards.

How Much Can You Earn?

When joining Opinions That Pay, it’s hard to miss the $350+ incentive which I think catches a lot of people’s attention.

The reality is, it will take a lot of time and effort to be able to earn $350 by way of survey taking.

On a previous post for Brands Need You, we did the math for what the earning potential would be using one of these survey sites working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

To earn $350, it would take about one full work week or 43 hours to accomplish this.

The math came out to about a 43-hour work week, using just one survey site, could earn your about $350.

This is actually quite normal payout rates when it comes to taking surveys. Some people enjoy it, while others might be looking for ways to earn much more.

Is Opinions That Pay A Scam?

I don’t think that this is a scam.

As shared before, the survey sites being recommended seem legitimate. Half of them I have personally tried or reviewed myself. The best way to be safe is to research any individual website you plan on joining.

The thing that I disliked most about Opinions That Pay is the $350 check they offer as soon as you create your account. Do not waste your time with this.

survey check from opinions that pay

In order to receive this “$350 check” can only be claimed after your purchase several subscriptions. In other words, “paid participation is required”.

Unless these offers sound appealing to you, skip it.

If survey taking is something that you are interested in, give the sites being recommended by opinions that pay a try.

Some of our favorite survey sites include Respondent, Swagbucks, and User Testing. Each of these is free to join and have significant payouts opposed to most surveys websites.

Pros

Some of the pros for Opinions That Pay would include:

  • Connects you with legitimate survey sites where you can earn money or gift cards
  • Free to join

Cons

  • Not very transparent about the work involved to earn $350 taking surveys (as advertised)
  • The “paid participation required” check

Conclusion

Survey taking has been around for many years and many people enjoy it for the convenience and ease of use when it comes to taking surveys.

If this interests you, be sure to look at the survey sites we recommend above as they are not your traditional survey site and even offer better payouts.

Opinions That Pay seems to be safe enough, though I don’t think they offer “the best surveys” and aren’t very clear on how much time and effort it will take to earn the advertised $350 for individuals.

Other than that, the site seems OK.
