Is Respondent A Scam? Our Review

is respondent a scam

If you’ve found your way to our review, chances are you are wondering if Respondent is a scam or a legitimate opportunity to earn online.

In short, Respondent is a survey site.

It exists to help companies connect with their ideal market or client. “Respondents” not only get an opportunity to participate in surveys for things that might interest them, but earn money in the process.

Companies may hold interviews, questionnaires, or ask you to participate in usability tests (where you navigate a website or app completing certain tasks).

It’s safe to say that Respondent is not a scam, in fact, there are many similar websites and business out there which help connect companies to consumers.

Respondent Review

Many companies use services like Respondent to get feedback on new or existing products.

While some places only require you to participate in questionnaires, Respondent holds interviews that take place both in person and online.

What type of interviews you participate in is up to you.

How It Works

When joining Respondent, you are met with two options.

You can join as a researcher or you can join as a respondent.

Most people reading this are going to join as a respondent as a researcher account is for companies wanting to get feedback on their website, app, product, etc.

As a respondent, you get paid for participating and completing surveys or interviews.

In order to qualify for these interviews, you must complete and qualify after a screening process. If a company then chooses you for the interview (sometimes they are looking for multiple people), you then get notified by email or text.

From here you simply confirm the interview and attend.

The pay and type of study is clear with each survey you apply to.

So you know exactly what to expect.

As with most survey sites, the best way to earn and be in good standing with these companies is to answer truthfully.

Joining Respondent

Joining respondent is as easy as creating an account by using your Facebook or LinkedIn profile.

Following this you will be asked some contact details and demographics.

How Much Can You Earn With Respondent?

The average earnings per for for respondents is $140 per hour.

Keep in mind, you more than likely won’t be interviewing back-to-back for 8 hours each day but rather when they are available and you qualify.

At the time of this writing, there are several pages of possible surveys to take, and they range from 30 minute interviews to 60 minutes.

Some offer $15 for 10 minutes of work, while most 60 minute projects offer anywhere form $100-$200 per hour.

How much you earn depends on how often you participate in actual surveys and interviews, but this should give you a better idea.

Payouts come by way of PayPal and you can expect payment within 8-10 business days after completing an interview.

Is Respondent A Scam?

Respondent is not a scam, but rather a website that connects companies with consumers all in the name of market research.

Companies pay money to get feedback on their products while respondents get a chance to offer feedback on items that interest them and earn money in the process.

It’s Respondents job to connect companies with reliable respondents and it seems that they are doing a great job doing so.

While collecting all the information I could for this review, it seems like researchers and respondents alike are enjoying the service.

Here are some things I enjoyed most:

  • Awesome user interface, website is easy to use and navigate
  • Very transparent, you know what the product is about, the type of study or interview, and incentive for each survey beforehand
  • Free to join for respondents
  • Lots of surveys available
  • Offers a way for anyone to earn online

  • Qualifying, this is how all survey sites work to ensure quality. But respondents could spend time attempting to qualify but never qualify

I first came across Respondent a few days ago and am happy to have come across this gem.

over a $100 in few minutes sounds not bad for me. I’m my country it is only $20 per hour working at a job. Especially working on a computer and at home doing this sounds great. I don’t know how the payment will be made to me. I hope this is worry free. Scams are out there always.

Hey Kit, our intentions with this review was to show you that Respondent is a trustworthy site. Though I haven’t been using it long, I’ve yet to experience any issues and have used similar services in the past to make extra money.

Agreed, there are many scams out there. With Respondent, if you run into any issues you can always communicate with the support team.

Hello Jason. Thanks so much for sharing this information. I am not used to survey companies paying this much money. My only problem is that I don’t have Facebook or LinkedIn. Is there a way I could sign up without these social media platforms? Since I deactivated my account with FB it has been almost impossible for me to reopen an account with them. But it may be worth my time to create a LinkedIn account just to be able to participate? Please advise.

You can also sign up for Respondent using your Google or gmail account. So there is a third option for those without Facebook or LinkedIn.

Let me know if you need further help with this!

Awesome info, I signed up right away.  I’ve been doing other surveys, so I know how it works.

I had my profile up in just a few clicks, I can see that they have a really broad range of surveys going on right now, and the compensation is pretty good too.

    Thanks for sharing!

Sure thing, James and I hope you are enjoying respondent as well.

In all fairness, the compensation is what caught my eye too, ha.

The simple truth about binary options which many of us do not know is the fact that it is mainly based on predictions. Without proper knowledge of what next can happen to the stock market, you are sure to lose your funds. That is why it is important to be tutored or mentored by a professional trader in binary options.
