Is Home Earning System A Scam? My Honest Opinion

Home Earning System Review

Chances are, like me, you landed on the sales page for the Home Earning System after visiting this news-style website:

The only thing is that this ‘news-looking’ website is not an actual “website” at all. Each of the buttons in the top menu will lead you to the Home Earning Systems sales page. As a matter of fact, just about anywhere you click will do so.

I think it’s safe to say that this “news” site is a fake.

Furthermore, it’s written in plain English at the bottom of the one-page website that nothing “should be taken literally”. From the comments to the story of the single mom making $7,000+, it’s all appears to be a hoax.

I come across sites like these often, including the fake news report, and it’s been my experience that these turn out to be scams. The “news website” is nothing more than a false advertisement for Home Earning System…

So, to answer the question from the fake news website; Do Legitimate Work At Home Programs Exist?

Yes, they do. You just have to know where to look. Join a service that actually helps it members and avoid the scams.

Scam Hints

There’s just one more thing that I couldn’t resist pointing out from the fake news site. It will also show you how far certain places are willing to go to trick their potential buyers:

The image on the right was photoshopped by Home Earning System to keep consistent with the fake news story of Jen Frazier, “the single mom who makes over $7,000 a month online”.

Earning Statements

For such a well put together website and video presentation (yes I am giving Home Earning System props for their layout), it’s unfortunate that the best thing they could come up with as undeniable PROOF is screenshots of earnings from 2013.

Here’s a shot from the video:

Seriously, 2013? It’s not uncommon for scam website owners to recycle old videos when putting together these promotions.

The Testimonies

The testimonies displayed on the actual sales page aren’t actual people. Ok well, they are actual people but I highly doubt that they are actual “certified members” of the Home Earning System.

It is my belief that the person(s) who put together the Home Earning System website cropped these images, that can be found online elsewhere, and wrote a few testimonies giving their own BS system two-thumbs up.

This sums up the pictures that I will be using for this review, and also sums up what you can expect by using the Home Earning System – deception:

Just 3 Questions

Home Earning System asks these three questions during sales video. Also according to the video, these are the three questions you should ask before getting involved with a make money online program.

Let’s see how Home Earning System does following their own series of questions.

Question #1 – Does the website or money making opportunity have undeniable proof that it works?

Highly questionable proof – from 2013! The screenshots used as proof are likely recycled from older videos/scams.

Question #2 – Are the money making methods used in this system legally and ethical?

For many obvious reasons, I did not buy the system. Hard to say.

Question #3 – Does the website give you all of its money making secrets for FREE?

No, in fact, you have to pay $97 upfront and it will be my guess there are many upsells once inside the program.

It was suggested at least two to three times throughout the video that this product would be free. Well, you and I know that’s not the case. This product is not free and there are NO real secrets to making money online.

Making money online, as with just about anything, requires you to work. If you don’t know what you are doing or where to begin, there are excellent services available online to help with that.

Is Home Earning System A Scam?

0/ 0
Home Earning System - Overall Rating

For the reasons stated above, I decided to not purchase the Home Earning System.

You as a consumer are free to purchase any products that you find online but it is my opinion that this particular product has way too many red-flags.

From the fake testimonies to the completely made-up news article, this sounds more like a risky business venture than an opportunity to learn.

A Service That Works

Not everything online is after you and your money. I’ve tried many programs but finally found a service that helped me to learn how to earn online.

I was very happy to finally learn the appropriate steps to how one can make a living from home, but become ecstatic once I started seeing actual results.

There are NO real secrets when it comes to earning online. There is certainly not some “miracle system” that will do all of the work for you.

What it comes down to is actual work and commitment (especially when building your own business), and this is what is being taught inside of Wealthy Affiliate.

I agree and don’t mind putting together these reviews. I read somewhere that for every one legitimate opportunity online there are 62 scams/bad ones.

Hey Thomas, that’s a good practice.

Although I have seen complaints about products/services that I believe are legitimate on the Ripoff Report. Either way, it’s best to avoid using the Home Earning System.

I always look for reviews before purchasing products. Currently looking for work from home job and somehow landed on home earning system. As i was going through their video i noted a few red flags of it being a scam, the $97 fee set me off precisely because it’s highlighted as FREE clearly for marketing purposes only. I clicked on continue leading them to believe am signing in, then clicked the back arrow in a manner to suggest am exiting the page. I was given a $20 discount off and encouraged to become a member at a discounted $77 . I found this interesting that if i act as though am leaving i get a discounted mmmmh might as well try a second time which i did and got a $30 off making my new price $47. This continuous deductions says alot about it’s legit and is in line with your article. After carefully analysing their video i also noted their earnings are from 2013 thus no sense of reality, I didn’t sign up, i think it’s a scam.

    Hi Jason

You’ve done a great job to expose this scam as their presentation is spot on, it looks very glossy and sophisticated and I think that this would suck a lot of people in.

The pictures of Jen Frazier do look convincing but it is a poor look on their half that they use results from 2013 which is definitely a red flag.

It is a matter of being aware what sort of tricks they use like the fake characters in their testimonials and ads. You have to be very careful nowadays what you put your money into.

It’s good that there are sites like WA that give you training and support to give you a real chance of success.

Keith, you need to get a hold of Home Earning System on their website – assuming that’s the site you are wanting a refund from. The information on this website (Extra Paycheck Online) is free.

I encourage you to contact the BBB and to take legal action. In the review above, I clearly state that I do not recommend the Home Earning System.

Hi Connie, you can always check for available online jobs using employment based websites like Indeed.com or Monster.com.

Here you will be able to apply to online jobs, but still, do your due diligence before getting involved with a company using these sites. It’s best to be on the safe side and ask questions if you are unsure.

My website, Extra Paycheck Online, focuses more on helping people learn how to make an income online through their own online business.

If you have any other questions for me, I will be more than happy to help.

Unfortunately, I got sucked in and paid the $97. I wanted a way to make money without a s****y boss, and hours to match. Today I talked to a “specialist”, who told me they want me to invest 5-10 THOUSAND DOLLARS to get started! If I had that kind of money laying around, I wouldn’t need them!

I fell for this scam, I’ll admit it. But I asked for a refund when I found the same information the site was giving me, free on another site. The product is hours of tutorials telling you step by step instructions on how to make money through Affilate Marketing. You can find that info anywhere. I asked for a refund 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t postep to my account. I just called a few minutes ago and they said I should receive my refund in another 5 to 7 business days? Does this sound right you?

Wealthy Affiliate is not a job per se. It’s a learning center which teaches people how to build businesses online.

People are given the opportunity to learn how to generate revenue online. You don’t have to have an idea for a business to get started and you can participate in the early lessons for free. Allowing you to see if you like what they have to offer.

I’ve been a member there for almost 2 years now, it’s where I got started and I don’t plan on ever leaving.

Yep! I purchased this “plan” for $97 with a money back refund. After calling all the numbers they had posted to get started right away, (no answer, leave a message pick-up) some man name Gary Shunk called be back, sounding like a slick carnie salesman, talking about this program is gonna cost a lot of “money” which, based upon his assessment, talking with me, “I don’t have. But he likes me and he’s gonna fight for me with his director to get a spot on their team.” He started talking about “credit cards, using there credit, etc., etc.!” RED FLAG, I got scammed with the credit card use 5 years ago. After I hung up talking with him, I FELT SO SAD! I had talked with this man for about 30 minutes…How could people be so heartless??? Beware! I’m glad I put his name out there. And I will get my money back…All I have to do is call my bank!

      Good afternoon Larry,

Wealthy Affiliate has two separate courses. One, the Online Certification Courses, and the other being the Affiliate Bootcamp.

It is the Affiliate Bootcamp that teaches you how to “promote” Wealthy Affiliate. Their training focuses on a very popular business model in affiliate marketing so it’s a no-brainer that they offer their own affiliate program. You as a member (former or current) should know better.

The Online Certification Courses is where EVERY new member is encouraged to get started. This does not teach you to “promote” Wealthy Affiliate but create a business/work in an online space following any interests/hobby/passion/problem/solution, etc.

You can create an online business working in any niche of your choosing. That’s just ONE of the reasons I recommend Wealthy Affiliate.

That being said I’ve seen numerous members do well (and I mean really well) working in spaces that have nothing to do with WA. From personal finance, to gaming computers, to fitness gadgets, to cooking, to traveling, to you name it.

Heck, I’ve even made money with a separate site within the “portable/bluetooth speakers” niche. A site I no longer own, but this was all done following the Wealthy Affiliate training.

For you to say “all they do is teach you to promote their site” doesn’t make sense to me.

Good luck on your search, Larry. If you need any help or have any questions, let me know.

I did fall for this scam. I didn’t notice the year 2013 but I did notice in one of the videos he was giving statistics about earning money from the internet and I don’t know what year that video was made but he was saying by the year 2016 . That concern me and even the “only few positions available” concerned me. Stupid me who is smarter than that bought into it. If it says don’t leave this page or you will lose your spot, leave the page and don’t look back. Thank you for doing the research to find out it was a scam. I figured out the first day I tried to use this system that it was a scam and your sight confirm that. I will get my money back because I have already talked to my bank
    Thank you
